Jean Royere exhibit by the Galerie Patrick Seguin

It is amazing to see the entire composition together in real life (vs a picture). The most shocking part was the color and daring use of sheepskin as upholstery and floor covering. The straw inlay was also a beautiful detail in the tables. According to the dossier, Royere was the first designer to actually paint the straw to bring depth and dimension to the artisan surfaces.
