Hyatt's newest brainchild, the ANDAZ hotel, is the antidote to modern business class hotels. Full of local flavor and high design, the concept takes the boutique hotel to a whole other level. The design itself offers much to write home about: Full of modern lines, clean silhouettes and natural materials all crafted into understated luxury interiors. The restaurant offers locally resourced food that reflect the region. On MR CALL's visit, he was treated to local New York strip steak, seared and served with Long Island tomato salad. But what really sets this hotel apart is the 2nd floor event space. Concentrated on a professional grade kitchen, the entire floor is dedicated to hosting the needs of executive clients. Private rooms called "Studio's" come equipped with the electronics needed to have a cutting edge meeting. A private bar is at the ready with calf skin seats and cut crystal glasses. A patio is accessible via monumental sliding doors that change the space at whim.
Congratulations to Hyatt for redefining what business travel is today in the luxury market.
